Rosemary Odinga is a Kenyan entrepreneur, supporter of social equality, and an advocate for alternative agriculture. She was born on August 13, 1977. She is well renowned for raising snails.
After meeting former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo, Rosemary started farming snails. He urged her to continue the hobbyist practise she had begun in 2007. When she got back home, Rosemary started growing snails despite acknowledging that she couldn’t keep up with the demand.
The mother of two girls who wed in 2004 in a colourful ceremony while Raila was the minister of roads, but who now avoids discussing the state of her marriage.
Rosemary was married to one Amos Ndanyi Akasa with whom she had a daughter before they separated around 2013.
In February, 2014 she gave birth to another daughter, whose dad has never been known. What has, however, raised eyebrows is another relationship Rosemary allegedly had with one rich fellow, Michael Okwiri.
