President William Ruto’s former deputy Aide-de-camp Lieutenant Colonel Damaris Agnetta had served President William Ruto for slightly over one and half years as deputy Aide-de-camp before being replaced last month.
Colonel Damaris Agnetta has replaced Colonel Rachael Nduta Kamui as the deputy ADC in 2022, just weeks after Ruto ascended to power.
But over one year later, Lt Colonel Agnetta has also been replaced from the position.
coincidentally the same day that Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla died in an aircraft crash, Dr Ruto stepped out with a new female ADC, who has replaced Lt Colonel Agnetta.
Lt Colonel Juliana Osweto from the Kenya Navy is Ruto’s new deputy ADC. She will deputize Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga who succeeded Brigadier Timothy Lekolool.
Lt Colonel Agnetta who is from the Kenya Army, joined the Kenya Defence Forces in 2003 and is from the artillery unit.
But so far, little is known about the fate of Lt Colonel Agnetta after exiting as Ruto’s aide. Just what has become of her and what does future hold for her in the military?
