President Ruto, today arrived at the Nairobi Residence of General Francis Ogolla to condole with his family.
Francis Ogolla left two kids and a widow. His Son Joel Rabuku spoke on behalf of the family as President Ruto condoled with them.
Joel in his remarks welcomed everyone to the General’s home before revealing that his dad had prepared them for the day. He tried to encourage those in attendance to try and put on a smile saying his dad is probably wondering why they are all sad.
Joel said that his dad had prepared them for the sad day. He spoke strongly with no sad emotions and even urged the attendees to lighten up a bit in honour of his dad who wouldn’t wish to see anyone sad because of him.
“I am seeing very many sad faces but General would just be wondering what people are sad about especially since he had prepared us for this day for a very long time and you guys look a bit happier. We as a family are leaning on his feet, on our feet and on the feet of Jesus Christ which was his cornerstone for everything and General is in a good place.” The son said.
Joel also recounted how General Ogolla and one of his sister named Peris usually cheekily smiled when they are up to something cheeky. He said that is how General is currently smiling in his death.
“So nyinyi msivurute sura sana na yeye (Ogolla) even in death anashangaa hii watu” Joel said as he concluded his remarks.
