In essence, being a parent means taking on the role of raising your child. It is common for parents to focus on building relationships with their partners in an effort to strengthen their parenting journeys and their relationships. Some hours ago Lynn Ngugi who is a popular Kenyan journalist interviewed a Kenyan girl who was deported from Germany who talked about her narcissistic mother and why she hates her and she will never forgive her.

According to the lady she was raised by house girls since when she was a young child because her mother was always out of the country. The mother would not call or care to know how she was surviving to a point she was mistreated when she was away and she didn’t even care to know how she felt. This made her hate European countries since she knew that was the reason she was having an absent mother.

At the age of 14 years her mother got married to a European man from Germany who was living with them in Kenya. Later they were to move to Germany and she refused but the mother insisted warning that she would take her to the village if she didn’t want to go to Germany. When they landed in Germany things didn’t go well because the mother and her husband were always fighting and after sometime the mother gave her out for adoption which made her feel the mother hated her.

After staying in the new family for sometime she could not fit in and she moved out to live alone where the government was helping her to pay the rent and school fees. All along the mother never reached out on her and she was struggling alone. She got pregnant to a Nigerian man but unfortunately things turned more worse and she started living alone with her child. She decided to move to another state to study photography but unfortunately her documents were almost getting expired.

They wanted her Kenyan identity card to renew them which she didn’t have since she had left Kenya as an underage. She was to go to UK or come back to Kenya to get the ID but that meant she would automatically deport herself. She was issued with the letter of deportation and he mother never cared about that and she went ahead to block her which really affected her. She talked with the authority and said she would leave the country willingly and they gave her some time.

The government went ahead and took her to school to prepare her for the new life in Kenya. They also paid her tickets and gave her money to start her life back home. She reached out the mother to come and say goodbye but she said she was going to Spain and she could not make it. She was deported to Kenya safely and her TikTok friend received her since she had no one in Kenya and the mother didn’t care if they reached home safely.

She therefore feels that her mother hates her very much and she never want to be associated with her. She said that she hates her mother very much and she will never forgive her no matter what. She also said that she is trying to raise her daughter in the best way to avoid her going through what she went through.
