Men fear me assuming am married but still single

Popular Kikuyu gospel singer Carol Mwaura has candidly shared her deeply personal journey of love, heartbreak and motherhood, revealing the painful experiences that have shaped her life and her outlook on relationships.

Speaking during a live interview, the singer encouraged her followers to treasure every moment of life, reminding them that each day is a gift from God. She urged people not to take life for granted but to embrace every opportunity with gratitude and hope.

Carol also addressed long-standing speculation about her relationship status, making it clear that she is currently single and has never been married. According to the singer, many people wrongly assume she has a husband, while some men believe she is beyond their reach because of her public profile.

“I am not married,” she explained, adding that these misconceptions have discouraged many potential suitors from approaching her.

The gospel artist went on to recount the painful chapter of her first relationship, which began when she was just 21 years old. She said she fell in love with a young man who promised to stand by her, but the relationship took an unexpected turn when she became pregnant after what she described as her first sexual experience.

Carol recalled the emotional challenge of returning home to inform her parents about the pregnancy after the relationship ended. Despite the disappointment, she said her parents embraced her with love and support, enabling her to raise her first child with their encouragement.

Years later, in 2012, she entered another serious relationship, believing it would eventually lead to marriage. However, after four years together, the relationship ended in 2016. Carol claimed she discovered that the man had been involved with several other women despite presenting himself as a committed, born-again Christian and promising to abstain from sex until marriage.

The experience, she said, left her heartbroken and deeply disappointed. Feeling betrayed, she resolved to focus on raising her child and remain single.

As time passed, Carol said she desired to have another child. She explained that she eventually found a partner and later welcomed her second child. After becoming a mother for the second time, she chose to continue life as a single parent.

Toward the end of the interview, Carol spoke openly about her current life, saying she is still single and hopes to have a supportive man in her life in the future. She also acknowledged that public perceptions about her have often complicated her dating life.

Her emotional testimony has sparked widespread discussion online, with many praising her honesty and courage in sharing the lessons she has learned through love, heartbreak and motherhood.
