Mercy Chebet, a student at Nairobi College of Medical Studies’ Kisii Campus, has passed away after a short illness, leaving her family, classmates, lecturers, and friends struggling to come to terms with the devastating loss.
Mercy was pursuing a Certificate in Healthcare Services Support (Nurse Aide), a course that had inspired her to dedicate her future to caring for the sick and bringing hope to those in need. According to a statement released by the college, Mercy fell ill while undertaking her clinical attachment at RAM Memorial Hospital in Kisii.
