A young Nigerian woman has gone viral online after narrating how her new boyfriend reportedly ended their relationship following an incident that happened during her first visit to his apartment.
The lady, identified on TikTok as Grow_Withsteph, explained in a video that she and the man had only recently started dating after speaking for several weeks. According to her, everything seemed to be going well until she spent a night at his house.
She stated that before leaving for work the next morning, the man asked her to help keep the apartment in order while he was away. However, she admitted that she has a habit of forgetting things easily and even joked about it before he left.
After he went to work, she reportedly fell asleep again and later left the apartment in a hurry without cleaning up properly. She allegedly forgot to spread the bed, clear food packs, or tidy the sitting room before leaving.
Hours later, the man is said to have returned home and became irritated after finding the apartment messy. According to the lady, he complained that the room smelled unpleasant because leftover food had been left out for too long.
She said she immediately apologized after he confronted her, but the apology did not change his mind. The man reportedly informed her that he could not continue the relationship because cleanliness and responsibility were very important to him.
The lady expressed surprise over how fast things changed between them, especially because the man had been very affectionate toward her before the incident.
