Asumbi Girls Senior School has ushered in a new chapter in its leadership following the appointment of Sr. Caroline Onyango as the institution’s new Principal.
Sr. Caroline, who previously served as the school’s Deputy Principal, has taken over the leadership of the renowned girls’ school after the retirement of Linet Pino Sati, OGW, who has brought her tenure at the institution to an end.
Her appointment marks a significant moment for the school, particularly because she is already familiar with its administration, students, teachers and the broader school community. Having served as Deputy Principal, Sr. Caroline has had an opportunity to understand the institution’s operations and the responsibilities that come with running a large secondary school.
Her elevation to the position of Principal is therefore expected to provide continuity as the school moves into its next phase.
