The bishop also revealed that Fr. Mucheri was pursuing a degree in Law at the Parklands Campus in Nairobi, a testament to his commitment to serving both the Church and society.

«”I was at the 6:15 a.m. Mass at St. Augustine Parish Juja where he led the Mass. Uncharacteristically, he arrived a few minutes late and did not give the homily. I will always miss his unique intonation as he led us through the Mass,” he wrote.»

Another faithful, Morris Rachi, paid an emotional tribute, describing the priest as a mentor who stood by him during one of the most difficult periods of his life.

«”I have lost a mentor, a friend and a man who knew me well. When my vocation faced challenges, he stood by me, and because of him I rose again. May he rest in eternal peace,” he wrote.»
