DNA should be banned and men raise any child in their roof…woman sparks debate

A woman has sparked a heated debate online after calling for DNA paternity testing to be banned, arguing that the practice is increasingly tearing marriages apart and destroying families.

In a passionate argument, she maintained that a man who marries a woman should be prepared to accept children born during the marriage as his own, regardless of whether the woman may have been unfaithful.

According to her, subjecting children to DNA tests can create suspicion, resentment and conflict between couples, particularly when the results reveal that a child is not biologically related to the husband.

“Men are always cheating, but when a woman cheats and brings in another child, it’s always a problem,” she argued.

She questioned the logic of a man marrying a woman he claims to love and trust, only to later subject their children to paternity testing.

“Whether a woman cheats or not, so far you’re married to her, any child she brings under your roof is automatically yours,” she said.

Her argument was largely centred on trust, with the woman insisting that marriage should be built on confidence between partners rather than suspicion.

“There is no need of you conducting a DNA test though. Another question is why are you even getting married to women that you don’t trust?” she asked.

She further argued that requesting a DNA test could itself be a sign that a husband no longer trusts his wife.

“If you must conduct the DNA, that means you don’t trust her. Why are you married to her in the first place?” she said.

The woman repeatedly called for DNA testing to be prohibited, blaming it for contributing to the collapse of some families.

“Let them ban DNA. Ban DNA. Ban DNA. DNA is destroying marriages. It’s destroying homes,” she declared.

She also looked to previous generations to support her argument, claiming that DNA testing was not part of traditional family life.

“Our forefathers did not conduct DNA. Any child that was born under their roof is their child automatically,” she said.

However, her remarks also touched on the complicated circumstances that can surround infidelity.

She suggested that some women who become unfaithful may later regret their actions but remain silent because they fear how their husbands might respond if the truth were revealed.

“She might have just, you know, done this thing mistakenly and she felt remorseful, but she did not tell you about it because she doesn’t know how you’ll react,” she explained.

She questioned whether discovering the biological truth through a DNA test would necessarily improve the situation, arguing that it could instead turn a previously peaceful household into a deeply divided family.

“And you will now start conducting DNA for what exactly? Peaceful marriage, you want to just destroy it with your hands,” she said.

Her comments have since raised difficult questions about trust, infidelity, fatherhood and the rights of children to know their biological identity.

While some may agree that suspicion and paternity disputes can severely damage relationships, others argue that DNA testing can provide important biological information and prevent years of uncertainty.

Ultimately, her call to ban DNA testing has reignited a sensitive debate: Should trust in marriage be enough, or should every man have the right to establish whether a child he is raising is biologically his?
