Popular couple breaks up days after grand wedding

Kenyan pastor Mark Radiance has announced the end of his marriage to Rodah, bringing to a close a relationship that had already faced challenges barely a month after the couple exchanged their wedding vows.

In an emotional statement shared online, Mark revealed that he and Rodah had mutually agreed to go their separate ways after making several attempts to save their marriage.

The Kwale-based pastor appealed to their families, friends and followers to respect their decision as they begin a new chapter of their lives apart.

According to Mark, the couple’s troubles began shortly after their wedding when they separated only about a month after saying, “I do.”

However, the separation did not immediately mark the end of their relationship.

Mark explained that interventions from his “Father in the Lord” encouraged the couple to reconsider their decision and give their marriage another chance.

They reunited and made efforts to rebuild their relationship, hoping that their second attempt would succeed.

But despite their efforts, the challenges proved difficult to overcome.

“All attempts to make things work have always been to futility,” Mark stated.

After trying to make the marriage work again, the couple eventually separated for the second time in August 2026.

Mark acknowledged that the decision was painful, but said both of them had reached a point where they believed parting ways was the best path forward.

He expressed regret over the collapse of the marriage while also accepting that life must continue.

“We regret it has happened, but again there’s a life to live and a reason behind everything,” he wrote.

The pastor did not reveal the specific issues that led to the breakdown of the marriage, choosing instead to keep those details private.

He also used the announcement to ask those around them to respect their privacy during what is likely to be an emotionally difficult transition.

Despite the heartbreak surrounding their separation, Mark ended his message on a gracious note, wishing his estranged wife well in the next chapter of her life.

He wished Rodah “all the best” both in the present and in the future.

Their story is now one of a marriage that faced difficulties almost immediately after the wedding, survived an attempted reconciliation, but ultimately reached an ending neither had initially hoped for.

For Mark and Rodah, the decision to walk away marks the beginning of separate journeys after their efforts to rebuild their relationship failed to produce the outcome they desired.
