For more than two weeks, a family in Kawangware has been living through every parent’s worst nightmare after their 16-year-old daughter, Ann Wambui, went missing under mysterious circumstances. The Grade 9 pupil at Kawangware Primary School disappeared from home on 20 July, leaving behind a devastated mother who has spent countless days searching for her child and hoping for answers.
According to the distressed mother, Ann left home without informing anyone where she was going. As hours turned into days, panic quickly set in as every attempt to trace her proved unsuccessful. Friends, relatives, and neighbours joined in the search, but there was no sign of the teenager.
