A Kenyan woman whose boyfriend perished in the shocking Naivasha accident over the weekend, has shared the last words her lover told her before he met his death.The grisly crash where a canter transporting highly flammable chemicals rammed into cars causing a chain of knocks before bursting into a fireball, consuming nearby cars to shells and claiming more than 40 lives.Mercy Muthoni, 26 was hoping to get married in March 2017. All the plans for a garden wedding had been set.Her fiancee had visited her over the weekend in Narok and was headed back home when the accident happened.
The aforementioned Kenyan woman is is stuck with memories of her fiancee who died at the Karai, Naivasha accident as relatives and friends of the victims continue to share stories of their loved ones.
26-year-old Mercy Muthoni was looking forward to getting married in March 2017 and all the plans of a garden wedding had been laid out.
Her fiancee, all excited and also looking forward to the big day, had visited her over the weekend in Narok and was headed back home when the accident happened.
Muthoni who was quoted by a local newspaper, said her man had been restless the whole day and kept saying goodbye without actually leaving.
She said: “He was restless and excited and kept saying that we would meet again, I didn’t know that he meant in another life.”
Before leaving, Muthoni shared, her fiancee asked her to keep smiling as she didn’t know what the next day holds.
Sadly, the next day brought Muthoni anguish, sorrow, pain and utter heartbreak.
