Despite being one of the youngest President in the region and who rode to power on social media mobilisation, President Uhuru Kenyatta no longer runs personal social media accounts.
If you search for Uhuru Kenyatta on either twitter or Facebook, be sure not to be successful because the pages no longer exist and this has been the case for some years now.
Why doesn’t he run his social media accounts?
President Uhuru’s accounts were deactivated after there were claims that unauthorised persons accessed them.
Before the deactivation President Uhuru was boosting as the most followed person in the country on social media as he had an overwhelmingly followed by over 3.6 million people.
Here is his last tweet on twitter before all his social media Pages were no longer available.

On their side, a section of Kenyans speculated that the tweet had targeted the second in. Command Deputy President William Ruto who has in the past claimed that the country’s anti-graft war had taken a turn it into war against him with the aim of scuttling his 2022 presidential ambitions.
From then up-to-date, State house official social media pages, post and communicate all the activities done by the president and this has been the case for some time now
