We all have friends that we trust and confine in when we’re are going through difficult times. It’s usually difficult to differentiate between a genuine and fake friend and some of us fall in the hands of people who are not there to help us but rather to ruin us. Like the case of Jennifer Muthoni who found her husband comfortably sleeping in her best friend’s bed.
Jeniffer was forteen years when she became pregnant for her boyfriend. The two quickly moved in together and started a small family. Jennifer would work as a casual laborer at a factory while her husband worked as a mason.
The two moved to Naivasha and one and a half years later, She became pregnant for her second child. Life was tough since her husband had now lost his job. A few months later her husband found a job as a night guard in a factory and thats when trouble came nocking.
Jennifer’s husband stopped coming home and whenever he came he would be drunk. This went on for weeks until Jennifer questioned him about his whereabouts and he became furious and gave a beating of her life.
” I wished I never asked him where he goes to becouse he beat me mercylessly.” Jennifer stated.
She decided to confin in a friend who was close to the family, but whenever she talked to her about her problems her husband would come in the evening and beat her for talking about their personal life with people. Jennifer was confused but later approached another friend who told her that her husband was sleeping with her best friend
She said that one day she followed her husband and saw him entering her best friend’s house. She was confused and went back home but on her way home she changed her mind and went back where she forcefully entered the house and went straight to the bedroom where she found her Husband sleeping half naked on her friend’s bed.
” When I saw my husband I was heartbroken. And the worst part is that he was rude about the situation.” Jennifer said.
According to her, the husband jumped from the bed and started beating her. He swore to kill her once he found her in her house. Jennifer left, went home took her kids and went back to her village where she now lives with her children.
She has adviced women to be careful on the people they trust with their personal issues since some of them are only there to ruin their marriages.
