Many men dribble after urination, and it is quite common as one age, but all ages can suffer from it, urinary leakage differs from man to man but even a few drops are a concern at times and sometimes the causes are usually by some medication, UTI (Urinary Tract Infections), stress, temporarily weakened muscles and so much, but how can you solve it?
The following are a few simple ways you can stop urine drops after urination:
1.Pelvic floor exercises
When pelvic floor exercises are done correctly they can help to resolve the leakage and not only that but also improve your bladder and bowel control. When a muscle is not exercised it weakens (pelvic floor muscles are not an exception) and those few last drops are usually a sign of a weak pelvic floor.
2. Improve your lifestyle
For those who have a mild inconsistency, a change of lifestyle can help way much, from quitting smoking, have a healthy weight, cut off drinks high in caffeine, this is cos they are diuretics meaning they increase the amount of water and salt expelled in the body.
3. Clearing the last few drops
After urination, wait a few seconds for the bladder to empty, place your fingertips behind the scrtum and apply gentle pressure, and draw the fingers forward to the base, this pushes the last few drops of urine to the urethra which can be emptied by shaking.
