Brookside milk company that is owned by kenyatta family could be in trouble after ruto plan in the milk industry
In latest move, President Ruto has announced a raft of measures and interventions which might essentially lead to the collapse of Brookside Company. According to President Ruto, personal interests is the reason farmers of milk are suffering selling their milk to Brookside at a lower cost instead of exporting to get better returns.
The president is committed to ensure that farmers are able to export their milk instead of selling to Brookside at poor cost. It’s clear that Brookside is the major buyer of milk from farmers at a lower cost.
