Its goes without saying that a woman is likely to tolerate a cheating man but a man can never even if he himself is a cheater. This is evident in the story below.
Ibrahim was the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1640 until 1648. He was born in İstanbul, the son of Ahmed I by Valide Kösem Sultan, an ethnic Greek originally named Anastasia
Ibrahim was obsessed with larger women, and he would direct his officers to find the fattest women in his empire so that he could add them to his large harem as concubines.
Ibrahim is said to have drowned 280 concubines of his harem in the Bosphorus. At least one of his concubines, Turhan Sultan, a Rus’ girl (from the area around modern Ukraine) who came into the Ottoman empire as a slave sold by Nogai slavers, survived his reign.
Rumors of one of his concubines sleeping with someone outside of the harem angered Ibrahim.
As a result of his anger, he did the unthinkable by drowning 278 of his concubines in the Bosphorus Strait.
was he really justified to do that ? that was so ruthless, what are your views ?
