Raila Junior is the third born son of former prime minister Raila Odinga. He is always active and does not shy away from correcting his father whenever he makes a wrong decision.
Raila Junior opened up about his ‘tough love’ for his father during an interview with Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo .
“I do oppose most things my dad says, but it is not that I don’t love him; it’s because I have my stand in life. Raila is a good man and a normal person,” Raila Junior said.
“I do oppose things he says, but at home, we do talk, encourage each other and share good memories together.”
During the exclusive interview, he also opened up about a medical condition that left his face deformed.Junior reveals that he suffers from a non cancerous brain tumor which developed when he was young.
“Nothing happened to me although I suffer from a medical condition,” he uttered.
He explains that the condition also affected his nervous system and has lived with it since his childhood.
“It’s a non-cancerous tumor that was in my brain and this affected my nerve system since I was young way back in 1985. It has always been with me in my lifetime,” Raila Junior adds
The tumor affected his brain and later distorted his facial features. It was later diagnosed as facial paralysis.
Despite all those shortcoming, he has risen to the occasion and worked hard to push his life and family to success.
He is now a married man with two kids.
