Did you know beatrice elachi biography, husband, CV,contacts, net worth family and children ? Nairobi MCAs on Thursday voted to impeach County Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi over abuse of office, interfering with county procurement and misuse of public funds.

More than 80 per cent of the ward representatives, 103, voted in support of the impeachment motion tabled by Waithaka MCA Antony Kiragu. Two MCAs opposed the motion while two others abstained from the vote.

FACTS ABOUT BEATRICE ELACHI

1. She was born in Kakamega (1973 )in a family with four children.

2. Beatrice elachi attended St. Teresa’s Primary School for her elementary education. She then transferred to Moi Girls Vokoli High School, in Vihiga County, for he secondary education. She was then admitted to Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi

3. she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Peace and Security Studies. She went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree in the same subject, also from Africa Nazarene University

4. Beatrice elachi has worked with the Women Movement from between 2003 to 2010 as a trainer for women parliamentarians under the UN Women. She previously served as a Programs Officer for UN Women under the same organization where she worked in collaboration with the National Council of Women of Kenya and the Collaborative Centre for Gender and Development. 6. 2017, Beatrice won the Jubilee Alliance primary elections in the Dagoretti North Constituency, in April. In the August 2017 general election, she lost to Paul Simba Arati, the incumbent.
