A pissed off bouncer in Ne-Yo’s entourage threw Sauti Sol’s Delvin out of the American singer’s Mad House Club party on Friday morning only a few hours before the visiting star flew out of Nairobi.
The Sauti Sol band member was kicked out of the VIP area where Ne-Yo and his entourage were partying at a meet and great bash that was attended by scores of local stars.
“I don’t like his attitude, he has no respect,” the bouncer heated up. “I don’t care who he is,” he went on.
The party was attended by among others singer Nameless, Diamond from Tanzania and Maurice Kirya from Uganda among others. During the celebrations, celebrities literally lined-up to take selfies with Ne-Yo, begging bouncers to allow them the chance.
However he has denied allegation citing that the meeting was planned.
“My meeting with Ne-Yo was pre-planned. So, when I went to the club, I was not expecting any opposition from his security guys. That’s why I walked straight to him and he absolutely had no issue about it. At the same time, I wanted my other buddies – who had accompanied me – to meet him. That’s what caused the fracas between myself and his security detail,” said Delvin.
He added: “When security refused to allow them in, I got infuriated and stormed out. By that time, I had already passed my message to Ne-Yo. I was not man-handled by anybody. I left the club at my own volition. The media just likes to exaggerate things.”
