Things are beginning to shape up after investigations from CID directed by CS Fred matiangi. Whereas 2015 exam cheating has been blamed to police and few naughty Teachers , new revelations now revealed that bottle tops played a key role in helping students obtain bundles to transfer exam papers via WhatsApp . In a school in which exam results were cancelled, CID revealed that students kept a huge number of bottle tops from Coca-cola hence assured of constant availability of Bundles.
During the examination period, a soft drink company, Coca-cola had a promotion under a particular brand, where customers would send a code found underneath a bottle top to a given number after which they would receive data bundles.
CS Fred Matiangi is doing all he can to shape up exam cheating in Kenya and just recently dissolved the KNEC body in bid to stop further rot. The officials were asked to record statements with police hence probable prosecution. He also has been on forefront to make sure that new curriculum is in place that will equip learners with skills not competing with each other.
