MY LOVING HUSBAND OUT OF NOTHING PICKED A PANGA AND DID THIS

Violet Mukhwana is a lady from Kakamega whose life changed for the worst after her husband attacked her with a panga. She is a mother of two children and she is expecting another in the next one month but has no one to lean on.

She narrated that her she was seventeen years old when got married to her husband and according to her he was an amazing man. He provided everything his family needed and always ensured that they were peaceful. He was not a violent man even during disagreements.

However, her husband proved to be dangerous the day he attacked her yet she had not done anything to upset him. On that fateful day, she had just arrived at their house from upcountry with their children and decided to rest a bit before starting to prepare supper

Her husband was also in the house sitting on a chair then he suddenly stood up, took a panga and started slashing her. She tried screaming and telling him to stop but he continued until she was unconscious.

Violet woke up on a hospital bed with cuts all over her body and her neighbours told her that her husband went to the police station and reported himself for what he did and was arrested.

Violet was hospitalised for two months and when she was discharged she decided to move to the village with her children because she could not afford to continue staying in Naivasha.

Since she is eight months pregnant with wounds that are not fully healed, Violet is living a very poor life with her children. Getting food and other basic needs is very difficult for her and the children have never gone to school since their father was jailed.

Violet decided to go to Naivasha to plead with the court to release her husband because she is desperate. She wants him to come and provide for her and the children because no relative has sacrificed to assist them. Violet is also worried because she is almost giving birth but has no one to rely on for help.
