Priscilla Adipo Obiya was very young when she got married. She was only 20, and her husband 23.When the man who would become her husband was courting her, Priscilla never thought he would also be the cause of her misery later on. Dismas Obiya declared his intentions to marry her in April and in June, he took her to see his parents. They were a couple that was admired by everyone around. They had a church wedding in AGC Living Word in Donholm.
Priscillar Adipo gave a confession of her tribulations about her marriage and below is her confession:
I was ministering at a crusade when a man took my number from the CD I sold during the fellowship. Months later we courted with him and before I knew it we got married.
I got my firstborn before one year elapsed in marriage and even though it seemed quite early, I did not mind it. My husband would take me to the salon he would even take photos we were the envy of people because he really loved me.
Before two years were done things changed. After a while, my husband would go to work for a week and would never bring anything. He started sleeping out on fridays and never attended church which was the first hint.
One day, Priscilla received a strange call from someone who claimed to know her.
“There is something I have seen and I cannot allow it to continue because I know you. Your husband is planning a wedding in Dandora. If you want to prove it, come to Dandora.” The caller said.
Priscilla had undergone a caesarean section and had a 6-week-old child so she could not travel anywhere due to her condition. Priscilla knew the caller could be saying the truth because her husband said he had gone to Dandora to deal with a certain case.
“My husband every Sunday used to tell me he is going to Dandora. He said there was a pastor who was filing for divorce and he was the one dealing with the case”. Priscilla said.
She called her husband and confronted him.
“And I hope we are also invited to the wedding you are planning in Dandora”. She told him.
Dismas Obiya broke into tears and confessed to being a devil worshipper. He said he had wanted to tell her but did not know how to. They had threatened to kill him if he ever revealed what he does. He was forced to join a cult and leave his family.
“I was told to leave my family because I was married to a singer and her religious beliefs do not align with ours. They said they would give me a woman who shared the same devil worshipping beliefs”.
Dismas said a lady friend had taken him to the devil
worshipping place with the lie that they were going to be prayed for by men of
God. When they reached there, he was told to take off all his clothes and enter
the place backwards. He was hit on the head with an object and all the
religious beliefs he had in God was instantly changed into believing in the
He was told to put 5000 shillings in a pot every single Friday and that’s what he had been doing until he confessed to his wife.
He also confessed how the devil worshippers had targeted his wife and children. They wanted to remove her from his life using whatever method they could. Priscilla reveals how the devil worshippers wanted to kill her.
