A Nairobi millionaire businessman Paul Maina has now filed a law suit at Milimani law court against Kilimani mums Facebook group on grounds that it is dirty, immoral and gender biased. He therefore wants the group scrapped before it becomes a national disaster. He recalls that kilimani mums could have costed him his marriage as his wife suddenly changed soon after joining controversial group. He also claims it is laying bad foundation to youths and is the reason for high number of singles and divorce cases.This comes days after kilimani mums admins took their supremacy battles to court. Magdalene Nzisa, a lawyer who started the Kilimani Mums Facebook group, had taken the co-admin Purity Nduta to court through Facebook advert after disagreement.

There has been debate online about the group with others terming labeling it a group which contains mostly single mums who are desperate to break married couples. However the group members have come out guns blazing defending the group saying it is platform where women can share freely things affecting them.
