When Mzee Joseph Abuga Oribo died in hospital, he could not be buried because of a land dispute
His grandson later died, and his remains suffered a similar fate before Interior CS Fred Matiang’i intervened
The CS helped bury the two and immediately started building a house for Oribo’s widow Dinah Nyaboke
Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has acted on his promise to help the widow of a Kisii man buried after around six in the morgue.
Two mud structures were hurriedly put up to hold the bodies overnight, with the CS pledging to build a decent house for the widow Dinah Nyaboke and her family. A day after the funeral, Matingi enacted his plan. Photos shared by Egesa FM presenter Nancy Kwamboka showed men clearing the foundation for the three-bedroom house.
The road to the home will also be built
