MACHESTER UNITED FANS CHOOSE THEIR NEXT MANAGER TO REPLACE OLE GUNNAR

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under serious pressure after a horrendous defeat to Liverpool.

Losing to Liverpool in 2018 was the final straw for Jose Mourinho’s reign.

This loss was far worse, with the manner of the defeat downright embarrassing. The loss was United’s worst ever home defeat to Liverpool.

Solskjaer’s future will be subject to more intense debate than ever, and many supporters are of the view that it is simply time up for the manager.

So if Solskjaer was to be fired, now or in a few weeks, who would his replacement be?

Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge believes 90% of fans would prefer to have Brendan Rodgers as Manchester United manager rather than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I just think, what does a Conte do to Manchester United? And I use Rodgers as an example. Who would I rather have? Would I rather have the Leicester City manager or the Manchester United manager? You ask 100 people, surely 90 would probably go Rodgers.

Purely based on managerial achievements, though, Rodgers deserves to be regarded as a notch above Solskjaer at the moment. The 48-year-old won seven trophies in less than three years at Celtic, and has since returned to England to win the FA Cup and Community Shield with Leicester

OTHER AVAILABLE OPTIONS

The Frenchman is also available instantly after leaving Real Madrid in the summer.

Zidane knows how to get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo, having worked with him before, along with Raphael Varane, who shared their Champions League success.

One reason against, is Zidane’s lack of familiarity with the Premier League.

2 Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte is the second manager on this list who is instantly available

Unlike Zidane, Conte has a proven Premier League track record, winning the title with Chelsea.

Conte’s most recent act in management was to win the Serie A title with Inter Milan
