Various political parties in the country have nominated several of their friends and relatives to represent Kenya in the East Africa legislative Assembly .Among those nominated by Uhuru is a former MP who lost in the just ended Jubilee nominations .Raila has nominated his former aide among others while Kalonzo has given the job to his son
Among the nominees in Uhuru’s list include former Kamukunji MP Simon Mbugua who lost during the controversial Jubilee primaries.
Uhuru’s Jubilee party had received 58 applications and only picked the 15. Their names have now been submitted to Parliament and five of them will be picked for the positions.
Apart from Mbugua, other Jubilee nominees are:

At the same time, Kalonzo has nominated his son Kennedy Musyoka, a move that has sharply divided the party in the middle.
