Dr. Ofweneke decided to pursue comedy after an unsuccessful career in music. He choose the name Dr. Ofweneke due to an incident where the children in an estate he used to live in nick-naming him Dr. Ofweneke.
Dr. Ofweneke whose real name is Sande Bush was born on 17th January 1991 at the famous Pumwani Hospital in Nairobi. His father is David Sande Oyolo, and his mother is the late Jennifer Atieno.
