David Mwambili, better known as Inspekta Mwala is a man of few words off the screen and mic. Mwala is one of the most successful actors cum radio presenters we have in Kenya at the moment.
INSPEKTA MWALA BIOGRAPHY
The father of two, who features in Citizen TV’s Inspekta Mwala dramedy, left us in stitches whenever he graced the screen alongside the late Mzee Ojwang, Mama Kayai, Ngomongo, Milele FM’s presenter Mogaka, Nyasuguta just to mention but a few, back in the day.
INSPEKTA MWALA CV
He kicked off his career on the now done, dusted and forgotten Vitimbi, which was the biggest local comedy show for years, Mwala graduated to even bigger fame after joining the Royal Media Services’ family. He has gigs on Citizen TV and its sister brand Radio Citizen.
On the latter, Mwala is the co-host of the morning show and his comics have become quite an asset for the media house. On TV, he is the vertically-challenged but tough police inspector ‘Inspekta Mwala’ who never jokes around with his juniors whom he refers to as ‘mboys’.
INSPEKTA MWALA WIFE
is mwala married ? Where there are babies, there’s probably a mama or a wife. However, on Inspector Mwala’s side, everything is mute. Inspector Mwala wife is hardly ever talked about or even posted on social media. It seems Mwala has done a very good job of keeping the mother of his children away from the public eye.
INSPEKTA MWALA FAMILY
the actor, just like all of us, has a life outside his job. Off the screen Mwala is a dad to two adorable kids

INSPEKTA MWALA TRIBE
Mwala is far from being a Kamba or even coming from anywhere near Ukambani. He was born in the coastal region of Kenya, Taita Taveta, where he was also raised. Mwala is a Taita by tribe and his on-screen Kamba accent is only learned. As he puts it, he is a Taita by birth and a Kamba by profession.
