What is Huduma Namba? Huduma Namba NIIMS registration is a free government service and is expected to cost between Sh5 Billion and Sh6 Billion. It is conducted by the National Integrated Identity Management system (NIIMS) and involves collecting biometric data after which the systems generates a unique number (Huduma Namba) which will enable one to access government services

Below is the form you will fill at the registration desk. If you do not have your documents, the various fields will be left blank as the clerks must see evidence that you actually possess them

HUDUMA NAMBA REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

What is being recorded: 

a. Personal numbers:

1. Birth Certificate number

2. ID number

3. Passport number

4. PIN Number

5. Driver’s license number

6. NHIF number

7. NSSF number

For the above it will be important to have them  physically. They are taking photos . 

b. Other numbers:

1.  Father’s ID number

2. Mother’s ID number

3. Spouse’s ID number.

For above, only numbers are needed. 

c. You also need to know:

1. Village name

2. Sub location

3. Location

4. Division

5. Sub county

6. County.

d. They are taking:

1. All finger prints

2. Passport photo

HUDUMA NAMBA JOBS

The government of Kenya is currently not hiring any new staff for the biometric registration exercise. Thet last hired in September 2018.

HUSUMA NAMBA REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Kenyans will be able to register for the Management System (NIIMS registration )process, better known ‘Huduma Namba’ even after the May 17 deadline it has now emerged.

speaking during a registration exercise at Standard Group PLC offices in Nairobi attended by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i a registration official said the kits will be taken to chiefs offices where Kenyans can continue registering.  “The exercise will not end until everyone is captured therefore the kits will be stationed at the chiefs’ offices for those who will have missed out after May 17 deadline,” the official said. He said Kenyans who will not be in the country by the time the deadline elapses will still be able to visit the chiefs’ offices and register once they come back.

there is no online services and one must avail himself at registration center together with identification documents for registration
