Finally, President Uhuru Kenyatta takes action after look alike lit Social Media

Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta is a Kenyan politician, businessman, and the fourth and current President of the Republic of Kenya. He served as the Member of Parliament for Gatundu South from 2002 to 2013. Currently, he is a member and the party leader of the Jubilee Party of Kenya.

Few days ago ,a photo of a man who resembles President Uhuru Kenyatta become a topic of discussion on social media after the image went viral.In fact, most thought that Michael Njogo Gitonga’s photos were old pictures of the commander-in-chief, probably before his first term as president in 2013.

During an interview at Inooro TV, Gitonga said he was raised only by his mother who worked in Gatundu as a security officer. Sadly, she died when he was barely into his teens. Gatundu happens to be President Kenyatta’s rural home. He does not however know the whereabouts of His father.

Gitonga used to run a bar in Umoja estate but is currently out of business following the government’s directive to have all bars closed in the wake of the outbreak of Covid-19.

UHURU KENYATTA NOW TAKES ACTION

Power of Social media in Kenya showed its prowess after the trending Photo of Uhuru look alike finally reached President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Following the expose, a group of statehouse operatives have been sent to Umoja in order to meet Gitonga and fetch more information about his Origin before the president extends his hand of help.

The president thinks the matter is sensitive and should be treated carefully to avoid ruining his family name. This is after Michael Gitonga claimed her Late mother Mother worked in Gatundu, the home Uhuru family.

President Uhuru, known for his kindness is expected to have his say after report from his main men is out.

Njogo however, stated that he did not want to use his resemblance to the president as a way to reap where he had not planted. He is however ready to meet president anytime.
