According to latest opinion research by Ipsos, The gap between President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD leader Raila Odinga’s popularity has widened over the few months. if elections were held now,uhuru Kenyatta will comfortably win with over 51% of the votes casted.This will be massive win in the first round. The popularity of Raila has reduced weeks after they had Anti-IEBC demonstrations.
The poll conducted by Ipsos shows Uhuru’s increased popularity with 51% of Kenyans saying they would vote him back in 2017
Only 28% of Kenyans have shown interest in voting for the former prime Minister Raila Odinga. This is slight decrease from 29% the last time
